Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as an independent contractor, working with children and adolescents. This flexible position offers a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week with in-person availability for at least 16 hours per week. While 24 hours is the baseline, we welcome the possibility of additional hours based on availability.
Compensation
Compensation: 60% of Revenue.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients as scheduled.
- Collaborate closely with the designated physician to ensure effective patient outcomes.
- Maintain a professional and patient-centered approach at all times.
- Manages the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preserves dignity and rights.
- Prescribes medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient’s diagnoses, health history, and age.
- Encourages positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
- Applies standardized care guidelines in clinical practice.
- Performs designated procedures.
- Ensures compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Board License – PMHNP.
- Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of availability per week.
- Must be comfortable working with children and adolescents.
- Willingness to work more hours as needed.
- Need to be open with 1099.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
- Two years relevant clinical health experience preferred.
