Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental health assessments, diagnostic interviews, and physical exams.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the patient’s mental health needs.
- Prescribe medications and manage psychiatric treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Educate patients and families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality requirements.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Refers patients to community resources or specialists when appropriate.
- Adheres to company policies and CDC guidelines related to infection control.
- Upholds strict HIPAA compliance protocols.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Active Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Nevada.
- National certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Active BLS certification - required.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited program or school.

Typical Physical Demands
