Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs.
- Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with evidence-based practice and applicable laws.
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up appointments.
- Collaborate with therapists, clinical staff, and other healthcare providers to coordinate client care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Complete required documentation in accordance with Blue Kite Wellness policies and applicable regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical meetings and consultation as appropriate.
- Maintain all required licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Full Practice Authority in the State of Illinois.
- Current DEA registration and Illinois controlled substance license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
- Preferred experience treating children, adolescents, and families.
- Preferred experience in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
Schedule Requirements
This is a part-time, in-person position based in our Wheaton, Illinois office. The selected candidate will provide services one day per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.
Compensation
$75.00-$85.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
