Psych Technician
Essential Functions
Aid patients with daily living tasks, perform delegated patient care procedures, document observations, facilitate groups/education, and provide limited medical intervention under supervision.

Variable shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ongoing need to see and read information, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions requiring verbal communication, hearing, and understanding spoken information quickly and accurately, especially during emergencies. Manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. Lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Stand in a stationary position for extended periods. Participate in managing high-risk patient behaviors.

Minimum Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- CNA or EMT
- Post high school education in social work, psychology, sociology, family studies, or a health sciences field
- Experience working with psychiatric and/or chemically dependent patients
- Experience providing behavioral healthcare services to patient populations
