Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the clinical team in the application of principles of patient assessment.
    • Demonstrates basic skills in collecting data by interviewing patients and identifying overt and covert problems as observed by supervisor.
  • Collaborates with the Clinical Team in the application of principles for planning patient care.
    • Collaborates with team in problem identification for Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP) as observed by supervisor.
  • Works with the clinical team in the application of principles of implementation of patient care.
    • Bases care on specific identified patient needs as observed by supervisor.
  • Works with the Clinical Team in the application of principles of evaluation of patient care.
    • Reviews patient condition with team against expected outcomes as observed by supervisor.
  • Provides clerical support to REACH programs, including facilitation of transportation coordination for Child and Adolescent populations.
  • Documentation is accurate, timely, and legible.
  • Is knowledgeable in the policy and procedures of seclusions/restraints for the Child Program. Is certified in CPI and maintains credentialing as required.
    • Meets yearly competencies for application of seclusion protocol.
  • Performs decentralized laboratory testing following established policies and procedures.
    • Appropriately collects specimens, reviews, and triages laboratory results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of current clinical mental health experience.
