About the role
Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital and Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital are both licensed facilities in California, serving as the primary healthcare providers in their respective regions.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and precisely performs and reports laboratory test results according to established hospital and departmental policies.
- Daily assumes responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance.
- Daily interacts and responds to patients, physicians, and co-workers in a professional manner, prioritizing patient care.
- May be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
Qualifications
- MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: At least two years as a Medical Lab Technician preferred.
- MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Associates of Science Degree in Medical Lab Technology or equivalent required.
- REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS: A valid certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
