About the role
The Psychiatric Tech is responsible for assisting with care of psychiatric patients from young adults up the age continuum through geriatrics under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree (preferred)
- One year of experience (preferred)
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units (required)
- CNAI in NC (preferred)
Skills
- Ability to perform all MOAB physical holds (preferred)
- Ability to care for Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse age-specific patients within facility (preferred)
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Full-time
- Day and Night shifts available
