About the role
Responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, billing, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Duties
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws across all age groups
- Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screens and paternity tests
- Accurately enter patient information and process billing when necessary
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen data
- Deliver superior customer service and handle administrative tasks
- Travel to additional sites as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy and pediatrics experience
- Strong communication skills and proven customer service ability
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and pass a color blindness test
- Flexible to work overtime and maintain professionalism
