About the role
The Provider Reporting Analyst II role is part of Medica, a nonprofit health plan serving communities in multiple states. This position ensures accuracy and reliability of provider network data across systems, analyzes trends, and contributes to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor provider data across systems to identify errors or inconsistencies.
- Perform intermediate analysis to determine root causes of data issues.
- Resolve data discrepancies through research, correction, and coordination.
- Maintain documentation supporting data integrity and audit readiness.
- Manage routine data distribution and interfaces.
- Analyze data to support business needs and identify patterns, risks, or emerging data issues.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts by suggesting improvements and testing enhancements.
- Support team knowledge sharing by answering peer questions, reviewing work, and sharing lessons learned.
- Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for the department.
- Support the monthly audit of provider data.
- Create and monitor the provider directory accuracy process for all business segments throughout the year.
- Collaborate with internal IT partners and external vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 3+ years of related work experience in data mining and/or reporting.
- PREFERRED: Healthcare/Health Insurance experience.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and achieve proficiency within a variety of systems.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Access skills.
- Experience drafting, creating, and maintaining reports for various business segments.
- Familiarity with Symfact, Copis, AQT, Access, Service Now, and Toad.
- Understanding of Access Database queries, exports, and table joins.

Benefits
Medica offers a competitive salary range of $50,800 - $87,000, with a typical hiring salary range of $50,800 - $76,125. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services, and more.
