Provider Relations Representative - USFHP
About the Role
Under the supervision of the USFHP leadership team, the Provider Relations Representative functions as a liaison among the contracted physician/specialist under the USFHP Health Plan. This position provides on-going communication, in-service, orientation, and direction to these contracted providers. The Provider Relations Representative manages provider rosters to ensure accuracy of our provider data that supports our claims system and provider directory.
Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison among contracted physicians and specialists under the USFHP Health Plan
- Provide ongoing communication, in-service training, orientation, and direction to contracted providers
- Manage provider rosters to ensure accuracy of provider data that supports the claims system and provider directory
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience working with physicians in a managed care/IPA, Medical group, health plan or MSO environment with Provider Relations or Customer Service experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management
- 2 years managed care Provider Relations experience
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and IDX
- Advanced knowledge of managed care principles and methodologies

Pay
Base pay range: $27.92 - $42.73 per hour. Placement on the wage range is determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
