We’re looking for a passionate Business Development professional to drive growth for our hospice team. You’ll forge connections with doctors, facilities, and healthcare organizations to ensure every patient receives the compassionate care they deserve. Responsibilities
- Profitably market hospice services to Third-Party Payers, Managed Care Companies, Physicians, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Medical Institutions
- Meet or exceed profitable growth of referrals and increase the length of stay
- Coordinate and market all hospice contracts, monitor progress, and collect relevant data
- Work with the Executive Director to identify and qualify potential new services to meet customer needs
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans
- Maintain records of all existing customers and track trends, markets, and demographics
- Analyze referral data and trends, adjusting marketing efforts based on data analysis
- Follow up on all marketing efforts and inform the Executive Director of activity status
- Maintain complete confidentiality of patients’ records and all other sensitive information
- Comply with policies and professional standards
- Act independently and responsibly to perform duties consistently
- Assist with the preparation of press releases and newsletters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience in sales and marketing in the service industry
- 1 to 3 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in-home care or hospice
- Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and ability to safely operate a vehicle
