About the role
Within a team environment, the Provider Navigator will perform the following responsibilities:
- Provider Assessments: 30%
- Documentation & Data Collection: 30%
- Provider Support & Service Referral: 30%
- Reporting & Integrity: 10%
Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in various designated meetings and events.
- Support other projects, initiatives, and agency efforts as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or a related field; or any combination of education and experience which would enable the candidate to successfully perform the functions of the position.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience working with children and families, including direct experience supporting children ages birth to five.
- Technical Requirements: Strong knowledge of general office procedures and excellent organizational and computer skills specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Highly skilled at data entry with accuracy and efficiency.

- Demonstrated effective customer service to quickly establish and maintain cooperative and effective professional relationships, build trust and rapport in a limited time.
- Effective skills in group facilitation, managing teams/groups, organizational dynamics, and consensus building.
- Excellent project management skills to balance multiple priorities with proven ability to anticipate challenges, solve problems, and maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

- Work collaboratively and cooperatively as part of a team with colleagues and staff within the Agency as well as other agencies as required for effective program implementation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Bilingual (ability to converse, write, and/or translate in English and Spanish to convey program information in the native language of the family).
- Travel: This position requires approximately 10% travel, which will consist of travel to community events, trainings, conferences, and various agency locations as needed. Staff may choose any mode of transportation (driving, walking, bicycling, carpooling, etc.). If driving, the staff member must become an approved driver with CCRC prior to driving on behalf of CCRC.
Schedule
- Ability to work a regular, full-time schedule. Overtime may be required as needed.
- This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment that includes in-office, remote, and community-based responsibilities.

- Team-oriented, general office environment.
Background & Health Clearance Requirements
- Background check required, including criminal history, employment history/experience, education, and reference checks.
- Additional clearances may include:
- Live Scan Clearance / DOJ Fingerprinting for positions working directly with the public in a child/community care or adjacent setting.
- Health Clearance for positions working directly with the public in a child/community care or adjacent setting or working with “at risk” populations.
- MVR / DMV clearance for positions where driving is required.
- Child Development Permit for positions working in an educational capacity.
- CPR / Pediatric CPR certification for certain identified positions working directly with the public in a child/community care or adjacent setting.
- Federal Debarment Checks for positions acting in a principal capacity to federal funds.

CCRC provides child development and early education, workforce development opportunities, child care financial assistance, Head Start preschool, and Early Head Start services for close to 50,000 parents, children, and child care providers each month in Northern Los Angeles County, including Antelope Valley, and the entirety of San Bernardino County, covering a total geographic area of 22,500 square miles.
