Protein Purification Associate Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform routine recombinant protein purification using established protocols, AKTA FPLC, and Agilent HPLC systems.
• Execute multiple protein purification projects simultaneously and conduct target protein quality control testing.
• Carry out routine protein labeling, Western blots, and biophysical characterization.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, records, and inventory tracking.
• Assist with cell culture activities, protein expression, stable cell line development, and DNA workflows as needed.
• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with protein purification techniques (AKTA FPLC or Agilent HPLC).
• Strong understanding of protein biology, biochemical principles, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Exceptional organization, time management, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Experience with protein labeling, antibody research, or mammalian cell culture.
