Protein Characterization Scientist - Pharma Research & Development

Qualifications

• A BS in chemistry or related science with 4+ years industrial experience in protein characterization in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical space.
• PhD in chemistry or related science with 2+ years industrial experience in protein characterization in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical space.
• Proficient with protein intact mass determination, protein digestion, protein sequence, post translational modification identification, HPLC and high resolution LCMSMS such as orbitrap.

Responsibilities

• Qualitatively and quantitatively test of client samples.
• Development and validation of analytical methods.
• Manage research projects and coordinate project related works between different departments of ARL.
• Write research protocol, project report and working instruction.
• Communication with client regarding the project/sample test status.

Requirements

• Oral and Written Communication Proficiency using the English Language.

Schedule

• Work Schedule: Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Flexible hours such as early, late and weekend shift may be required.
