Protection Officer - Evening shift
Position Purpose
The Protection Officer is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital and specifically their assigned post during their watch.
What You'll Do
- Be vigilant of suspicious activities and persons taking appropriate actions in ensuring the safety and security of the hospital.
- Write reports in a neat and legible manner.
- Although usually assigned to one shift, be available to work all three shifts when needed.
- Perform essential job functions, to include daily patrols and functions without bias or discrimination.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience as a security officer (4 years).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.
- One or more years of Security experience.
Pay
$19.02 - $26.67 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Schedule
Evening - 3:00 pm–1:30 am (4 ten-hour shifts per week).
