Protection & Controls Tech

About the role

Phase To Phase, LLC is seeking Relay and Protection & Control Technicians with 3–5 years of hands-on Controls experience. This is a hands-on field position requiring daily work in active substation environments with equipment ranging from 4 kV through 500 kV. This is not a Lead position. We're looking for experienced P&C technicians who know the work and are ready for their next opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of utility/substation P&C experience
• Protective relay testing experience
• Doble 6150 experience
• Working knowledge of ENOSERV RTS and Doble Protection Suite
• Familiarity with SEL and/or GE protective relays
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot protection and control circuits
• Greenfield and brownfield substation experience

Responsibilities

• Power transformer replacements (30–100 MVA)
• Feeder protection replacements and upgrades
• Recloser replacement and commissioning projects
• Protection and control upgrades within existing substations
