About the role
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining protection and control systems in power generation facilities. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new protection and control systems
- Perform system testing and debugging
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
- Document system configurations and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in power generation protection and control systems
- Proficiency in automation software and hardware
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of protective relaying and control systems
- Experience with SCADA systems and PLCs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or MATLAB
- Experience with data analysis tools like Excel or R
- Good understanding of electrical principles and power systems
