Proposal Manager

At TDA, our dedication to excellence in architectural design for educational and civic projects drives our every endeavor. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative Proposal Manager to lead the development of compelling, high-quality proposals that help grow our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Leading proposal pursuits from kickoff through submission, ensuring deadlines are met and materials are accurate, polished, and on brand.
Producing proposal and interview materials using Adobe InDesign, managing all components including narratives, resumes, project descriptions, photography, and consultant information.
Monitoring public and private procurement sites to identify new proposal opportunities aligned with the organization’s goals.
Continuously improving proposal processes, templates, and tools to increase efficiency, consistency, and quality.
Maintaining proposal databases and content libraries, tracking past submissions, outcomes, and upcoming opportunities.
Staying current on industry trends, tools, and best practices to strengthen proposal strategy and presentation.
Collaborating with and mentoring team members, fostering a supportive, learning-oriented environment.
Supporting broader Communications initiatives as needed and contributing to team-wide goals.
Contributing to other related initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
At least two years of experience supporting proposals, marketing, or related functions (experience in AEC or professional services is a plus).
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, including proofreading and quality control.
A strong eye for design and understanding of layout and visual storytelling.
Ability to interpret and apply brand standards consistently.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and related tools.

Work Environment & Travel
This role is primarily office-based, with occasional local travel to project sites, client meetings, or stakeholder engagements.
