Nightwing is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the preparation of compliant, compelling proposals for various sized and low complexity engagements. The ideal candidate must have 10+ years of experience supporting proposal and business activities, including leading low complexity efforts as a Proposal Manager.

• Ensure the timely submission of compliant and compelling proposals
• Collaborate internally and externally to develop compelling offerings
• Create and track overall and volume level compliance matrices
• Create detailed, comprehensive proposal schedules and timelines
• Assign and track taskings to ensure clear roles and responsibilities
• Lead the planning, development and refinement of proposal content
• Work with subject matter experts to understand project goals and objectives
• Lead and contribute in content planning, solutioning and strategy
• Research and gather information to support proposal content
• Develop and maintain proposal templates and guidelines
• Perform Proposal Coordination activities to facilitate proposal operations
• Provide proposal development training in accordance with industry best practices
• Track and report on proposal submissions and outcomes

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have 10 years of experience supporting proposal and business activities
• Must have experience leading low complexity efforts as a Proposal Manager
• Must be able to step in and support volume writers with content creation
• Experience using collaboration software, such as SharePoint
• Must have management and leadership skills
• Must have knowledge of industry-specific requirements and standards
• Knowledgeable in Shipley methodologies and practices
• Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Must be able to travel throughout the WMA as required
• Travel up to 10% may be required outside the WMA
• Desired: APMP Certification
• Experience using SalesForce
• Desired: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Must be able to work with and lead cross-functional teams
