Proposal Coordinator
What You Will Do
- Able to assist teams in US and Europe with the development of commercial and state/local government proposals, primarily in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Respond to request for proposal template creation, by incorporating standardized content, searching centralized databases, and customizing template for compliance.
- Schedule stand up calls to track the progress of the proposal and notify proposal team on areas that need attention.
- Preferable experience with responding to questions and submitting proposals through supplier procurement portals (like Ariba, PowerAdvocate etc.).
- Efficiently coordinate with multiple Guidehouse teams (Solutions, Legal, Finance, IT etc.) for additional information whenever necessary.
- Create and edit complex documents to specifications using expert word processing and document tracking features.
- Review the overall response to ensure that concise and compelling responses are presented to the customer.
- Communicate with manager on job or deadline issues.
- Research/update/maintain proposal content library with the latest/best-in-class information and messaging (including bios, project summaries, corporate RFP Q&As, etc.).
- Collect, develop and archive proposal materials for re-use across multiple segments.
- Support special projects as needed (e.g., Bio Update Campaign).
What You Will Need
- Min 5 years of bid management and proposal support experience.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, an advanced user of Word styles and adept at proposal template creation and formatting.
- Excellent command of written English and be able to comprehend technical details of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
- Ability to work on tight schedules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
