Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with project planning, estimating, and scheduling of AWA output.
- Canvass marina & service customers to mine and develop potential work lists not identified prior to vessel arrival.
- Daily follow up of pending AWA’s status for signature; clear out rejected AWA’s from the pipeline.
- Working with Project Managers to obtain direction on execution of additional AWA’s.
- Reaching out to Vessel Contact to obtain additional needs information and producing AWA requests.
- Support coordination with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Liaison between Project Management and Project Development group.
- Track AWA sales and YoY growth.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and status updates.
- Support customer communication and help manage expectations throughout the project.
- Aid in identifying issues, risks, or delays and escalate as appropriate.
- Learn and follow established SOPs and project management processes.
Qualifications / Skills
- 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, construction, marine services, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently under the guidance of Project Managers or the Senior PM.
- Basic understanding of estimating, scheduling, contractor coordination, or service operations preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Providing consistent, reliable support to Project Managers on AWA production (PM feedback).
- Increase of AWA production numbers YoY.
- % increase in AWA volume per boat.
- % increase in overall service revenue vs prior year.
- Maintaining professional and proactive communication with customers and internal teams.
- Accurately tracking project details and following through on assigned tasks.
- Demonstrating continuous learning and readiness to manage projects independently over time.
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
- Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area.
- Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
Technical and Physical Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior marina experience preferred.
- ABYC and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
