Property Porter

About the role

CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking a Property Porter for Olbiston Apartments in Utica, NY. This role focuses on maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and upkeep of the property to ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean the leasing office and restrooms daily.
• Clean and maintain model apartments on a daily basis.
• Clean vacant apartments as assigned by the Superintendent.
• Ensure all vacant units remain fresh, clean, and free of odors.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of laundry facilities each day.
• Notify management of supply needs on a bi-monthly basis.
• Perform daily cleaning duties including carpets, windows, community rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to perform assigned duties and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
• Effective communication skills with a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work well with residents, visitors, vendors, and team members from diverse backgrounds.
• Must be able to pass a 3-year background check and pre-employment drug testing.
