About the role
Property Managers are responsible for maintaining communities to a market-ready standard while ensuring a high level of service. They motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all property operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
- Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
- Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards.
- Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic.
- Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing team (leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management) to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
- Drive revenues through competitive analysis and creative marketing programs.
- Lead by example, modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain resident files according to company standards.
- Resolve resident conflicts promptly to maintain a positive living environment.
- Manage and maintain the community budget and finances.
- Work with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.
- Determine leasing opportunities for staff and set performance goals.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Real Estate License preferred.
- 3+ years of Property Management experience.
- 3+ years of Management experience.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
- General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills with excellent oral and written communication.
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regular travel is required.
Physical Demands
- Stand and walk for extended or continuous periods.
- Ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
- Travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time.
- Operate office machinery regularly.
- Travel up to 15% of the time, with varying frequency and duration.
- Exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, frequently, or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Pay
The compensation for this position is $72,250.00 - $85,000.00, depending on factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
