Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
  • Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  • Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
  • Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.
  • Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
  • Drive revenues through thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
  • Lead by example, instilling and maintaining Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.
  • Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the overall community budget and finances.
  • Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met.
  • Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting and improving the performance of each staff member.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
  • General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Real Estate License preferred.
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience.
  • 3+ years of Management experience.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regular travel is required.

  • Stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time.
  • Ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
  • Travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.
  • Remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time.
  • Regularly operate office machinery.
  • Travel up to 15% of the time, with varying frequency and duration.
  • Exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, frequently, or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Pay

The compensation for the position is $69,700.00 - $82,000.00.
