Property Maintenance Technician

About the role

Real Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide a great resident experience by keeping properties looking great and working well. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, with a focus on building relationships rather than just handling "tenants and toilets." The goal is to help residents love where they live and owners love their investments.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work including general maintenance; light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting; light groundskeeping; light appliance installation/maintenance; trash/large object disposal; pool maintenance; and more
• Handle work orders in an efficient, punctual, and respectful manner
• Provide front-line customer service with a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with residents
• Identify opportunities for improvement when visiting properties for work orders, helping residents love their homes and providing property owners with maintenance insights

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance and/or a trade craft (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc.)
• Valid driver's license
• Digital literacy and ability to use a smartphone

Qualifications

• Love for a job well done and enjoyment of maintenance and hands-on work
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Patience with customers and team members, with willingness to explain things in understandable terms
• Punctuality and honesty
• Familiarity with maintenance and/or trade work is a plus

Pay

Pay range is $20-$28 per hour.
