Property Grounds Maintenance Laborer

About the role

Breezy Point Resort is seeking a Property Ground Maintenance Laborer to maintain gardens, outdoor landscapes, and the cleanliness of outdoor facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled trimming, light lawn mowing, weeding, tree & shrub pruning, repair and reseeding of damaged lawn areas
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers
• Rake and dispose of leaves and other yard waste
• Keep grounds free of litter
• Maintain pump houses, water softeners, and perform routine checks on irrigation systems
• Interact with homeowners, HOA Community Managers, and the Association of the Board of Directors
• Ensure overall maintenance and physical appearance of HOA communities
• Complete work orders in a timely fashion
• Follow all proper safety procedures as established by OSHA and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• Some experience in lawn care and landscaping
• Knowledge of plants and maintenance of landscapes
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Willingness to pass a background screening
• Familiarity with tools and equipment required for the job

Qualifications

• Self-starter who can work independently
• Detail-oriented

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay

$17.00 per hour
