Property Data Analyst
About the role
This position is based in our Knoxville office five days a week. Hybrid or remote arrangements are not available for this role.
You will analyze public records, MLS listings, and other data sources that frequently contain inaccuracies or missing information. Your primary responsibility is to determine the factual details of properties by cross-referencing listing photos, county tax records, and MLS entries. Key decisions include identifying room layouts and determining how much of a basement counts as finished square footage to ensure our database maintains accurate property records.
Records will often contradict each other. You will make these determinations 40 to 60 times per day, aiming for high accuracy without overanalyzing each case. Entries that are genuinely uncertain should be flagged for review. This role is not suitable for individuals who require absolute certainty before making decisions.
The pace of this role is fast and non-negotiable. You must be quick in both typing and decision-making. The current employee in this role types over 70 words per minute and evaluates a property in a few minutes without sacrificing judgment quality. This combination is essential for success in the position.
Requirements

- Ability to make quick, accurate decisions without overanalyzing
- Comfort with ambiguity and contradictions in data
- Willingness to work at a fast pace consistently
- Performance measured by completed properties per day after the first 30 days
