Property Custodian- TS/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities

• Maintain stockpile and equipment inventory and maintenance
• Identify, handle, and store hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in accordance with regulations
• Operate, maintain, and inspect material handling equipment (overhead crane, forklift, pallet jack, and stock picker)
• Coordinate specialized maintenance services with external vendors
• Support operation, maintenance, and calibration of material and diagnostic equipment (SEM, EDS, optical microscopy, gas meters, FTIR spectroscopy, radiation detection instruments, etc.)
• Perform general support in a lab environment as directed by project managers
• Support with preparation, disassembly, inventory, identification, and analysis of components and materials

Qualifications

• Associate degree (preferred) or High School Degree with 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Minimum 3 years’ laboratory environment experience
• Experience performing inventory, tracking, and maintenance/upkeep of equipment and supplies
• Experience performing (or coordinating for) preventive maintenance, calibration, and general maintenance of laboratory and support equipment
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• Desired: Forklift experience and/or certification, overhead crane operations experience and/or certification, industrial/safety certifications (OSHA or equivalent), materials analysis, field testing, SEM operation, FTIR operation, X-ray operation, forensic photography
