Property Coverage Attorney - Litigation Associate/Junior Partner

About the role

Clausen Miller P.C. seeks a first‑party property coverage and defense Associate or Partner level attorney with 3–12 years’ experience to be based in our California office. Applicants must reside in the state and hold an active license in good standing with the California State Bar. The role involves writing coverage opinions for insurers and/or defending them in lawsuits filed by insureds, requiring excellent writing skills.

Requirements

• 3–12 years of relevant legal experience
• Active California State Bar license in good standing
• California residency
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience writing coverage opinions for insurers
• Experience defending insurers in lawsuits filed by insureds

Schedule

• Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 – $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
