The position maintains chain-of-custody integrity and performs its work in accordance with applicable laws, department policies and procedures, and recognized property and evidence management practices. Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to property/evidence managementProvides property and evidence packaging instruction, orientation, and procedural guidance to department employees as assigned, using supervisor-approved procedures and manuals.
