Responsibilities
- Actively generate new sales leads through community activities, association meetings, and qualified sales calls to achieve or exceed sales goals.
- Partner with internal team members and experts to determine appropriate coverages for prospect sales meetings and proposals.
- Manage existing book of business in collaboration with the client experience team.
- Maintain client relationships, address their evolving business needs, and deliver necessary documents.
- Attend all sales-related activities, promoting a positive attitude to support agency growth and changes.
- Effectively communicate the company’s position and solutions on industry trends to clients.
- Ensure team accountability for commitments made to customers and encourage coaching to build high-functioning teams.
- Promote the agency and the insurance industry within the community.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
Requirements
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain or retain state-specific licensing and industry-specific professional designations.
- Hold an appropriate state-specific Insurance Agent’s License or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Sales experience, preferably in Commercial Property and Casualty.

Pay
