Property Administrator
Responsibilities
- Welcome prospective residents, conduct community and apartment tours, and provide a positive leasing experience from first contact through application.
- Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries in a timely manner while building strong relationships with prospective renters.
- Manage lead follow-up activities and document conversations, appointments, and leasing progress within Yardi or related property management systems.
- Prepare and review rental applications, lease documents, and required compliance paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain organized schedules, leasing reports, traffic records, and market data to support daily operations and occupancy goals.
- Coverage across multiple properties as needed, adapting to changing business priorities and periods of high leasing activity.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of multifamily leasing experience is preferred.
- Strong customer-facing experience in hospitality, retail, restaurant, or sales environments will also be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy, deadline-driven setting.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing guidelines is preferred.
- Experience using Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
- Dependable, adaptable, and motivated to grow within the property management field.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. They should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize their workload effectively. A background in property management or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory. Applicants should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
