Key Responsibilities
- Abstract and review commercial lease documents
- Maintain lease data within lease administration systems
- Review invoices, rent forecasts, CPI calculations, and operating expense reconciliations
- Resolve landlord and client inquiries
- Prepare client reports and ensure data accuracy across multiple accounts
- Support lease administration projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of lease administration experience
- Experience with CoStar, Visual Lease, ManagePath, or similar platforms
- Strong lease abstraction and lease review skills
- Advanced attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience in property accounting within the real estate or property management sector
- Working knowledge of Yardi software for accounting, reporting, and property-level financial management
- Hands-on experience with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entry preparation
- Solid understanding of accrual accounting and general ledger maintenance
- Familiarity with lease accounting concepts and the financial impact of lease activity
- Experience supporting lease administration processes related to billing, schedules, or tenant documentation
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a contract assignment
