Who We Are Roots is a wealth-building platform built on a simple belief: everyone deserves a real path to financial growth, and that path should feel achievable. We create simple, accessible ways for people to participate in ownership and invest in real assets, making wealth-building more engaging and within reach. Today, Roots is a growing ecosystem that combines an investment platform, financial tools, and education to support long-term financial progress. We’re already helping a rapidly growing community take meaningful steps toward building wealth, and we’ve seen that when the experience feels intuitive and rewarding, people actually stick with it. That’s what we’re continuing to build. Why We Need You As our real estate portfolio has grown to more than 1,500 single-family rental homes across multiple states, we’re building a finance function that reflects the complexity of owning and operating institutional-quality real estate. While you’ll report through Finance, you’ll become the primary accounting partner supporting our real estate portfolio. You’ll own the financial reporting and portfolio accounting for our REIT, sitting at the intersection of property-level accounting and portfolio-level financial reporting. Working closely with third-party property management companies, you’ll ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized financial data that supports internal decision-making, investor reporting, and the continued growth of our portfolio. This is a highly operational role for someone who enjoys owning monthly close processes, reconciling data from multiple sources, and transforming property management data into clean, standardized financial reporting.
