Property Accountant

About the Role

Our client is a growing real estate investment and property management company looking to add a Property Accountant to their close-knit accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle, working in a collaborative environment, and wearing multiple hats within a small, team-oriented company.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of approximately 20 properties
• Perform month-end close activities
• Process accounts payable invoices
• Manage tenant receivables and collections
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Prepare CAM reconciliations and reporting
• Assist with lease administration
• Respond to tenant billing questions and support vendors as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, AP, and AR
• Comfortable working in a small company environment where everyone pitches in

Preferred Experience

• Property management or real estate accounting
• Yardi ERP experience
