Property Accountant

About the role

An established and growing real estate company near York, PA is seeking a Property Accountant to join its accounting team and play a key role in managing a diverse property portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and depreciation
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Process and reconcile payroll activities
• Maintain tenant, vendor, and property accounting records
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts
• Analyze general ledger activity and resolve discrepancies
• Support budgeting, reporting, and special projects
• Aid with future accounting system implementation and process improvements

Requirements

• Full-cycle accounting experience within property accounting, real estate, or construction industry
• Strong understanding of AR, AP, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong Excel and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Collaborative, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications

• Competitive salary of $70,000-$80,000

Pay

$70,000 - $80,000 base salary + 5% Bonus

Schedule
