Implement process improvements and track operations and performance parameters to ensure high quality, on time delivery. Work consists of making moderate to substantial improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area. Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are complex and may require comprehensive information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues, job areas or specialties. Problems are generally solved through creative solutions, drawing from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues. Night shift coverage will require the ability to support all propellant and warhead compositions that are manufactured onsite. Work is guided by individual goals and objectives with minimal oversight or direction. Essential Functions Strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight. Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills Computer skills sufficient to generate reports and analyze data using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Minitab.Lean Six Sigma certification.Statistical Analysis experience.Understands rocket propulsion component(s) and theory of operation.Experience working with Energetics and DOD contracts.
