The Propane Technician will work directly in the field and in customers’ homes installing propane tanks, gas lines, performing safety gas checks, and working with construction equipment. Will train the right candidate to get propane certifications and license. $23-$30/hour Job Responsibilities Provide efficient and polite service to our customers while maintaining the highest safety standardsAbility to move heavy objects while performing tasks associated with tank and line installationsAbility to manually dig and backfill trenches when equipment is not able to be usedIs willing to work a flexible schedule with after-hour emergency calls and an on-call rotationSafe operation of company vehicle and equipment which includes cleanliness, daily inspections, and reporting of any problems in accordance with DOT and NFPA regulations and company policyDrive company vehicles in various weather/driving conditionsAbility to learn and navigate a tablet to complete work cards and safety inspection accuratelyFamiliarity with and adherence to company policies, safety policies and regulationsAccurate accounting of inventory in service vehicles and other inventory itemsCross train with other departments to perform other roles as needed during the busy season.
