Propane Delivery Driver (CDL B) - Hiring Bonus

About the role

This is a local route, home every night, Class B CDL position. Primary responsibilities include delivering propane, propane tanks, and cylinders to residential and commercial sites while providing first-in-class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane, tanks, and cylinders to residential and commercial sites while providing high-quality customer service
• Perform maintenance on company and customer equipment and assist with plant maintenance activities
• Inspect vehicle and notify supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
• Operate and maintain handheld tablets
• Filling, loading, securing, and delivering propane cylinders or bulk

Requirements

• Valid Class "A" or "B" Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (or the ability to obtain requisite endorsements) without air brake restrictions
• A clean driving record verifiable by a Federal Motor Vehicle Report
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and maintain a Federal DOT medical card
• Must have the ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in the English Language
• Must be able to comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements
• Safety conscious and customer service oriented
• DOT Hazmat Training and Maintenance every three years
• Maintains compliance with all DOT requirements

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and good driving skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to pull delivery hose
• Ability to bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed

Pay

$3,000 Sign-On Bonus: You will receive $1,000 after 3 months of employment and achieving a minimum of a Class B License with Tanker and Hazardous Endorsements. After successfully completing 6 months of employment, you will receive an additional $2,000. Must be employed and in good standing at the time of payout to qualify.
