Propane Delivery Driver (CDL B) - Hiring Bonus

About the role

Join our team as a Delivery Driver for Lakes Gas, a family-owned propane provider with over 60 years of service and 60+ locations across the Midwest. This is a local route, home-every-night, Class B CDL position delivering propane, propane tanks, and cylinders to residential and commercial sites while providing top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane and propane-related products to residential and commercial customers.
• Provide first-in-class customer service.
• Maintain and upkeep company and customer equipment.
• Perform plant maintenance activities.
• Operate and maintain handheld tablets.
• Inspect vehicles and notify supervisors of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• Comply with all DOT requirements, including Hazmat training and maintenance every three years.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, pull delivery hose, and perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, reaching, and rotating.
• Fill, load, secure, and deliver propane cylinders or bulk propane.

Requirements

• Valid Class "A" or "B" Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain them) without air brake restrictions.
• Clean driving record verifiable by a Federal Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a Federal DOT medical card.
• Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in English.
• Compliance with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Safety-conscious and customer-service-oriented mindset.

$23.00/hr to $26.00/hr
