Promotions Assistant

Audacy Philadelphia is seeking a Part-Time Promotion Assistant who is also interested in performing as the B101 Buzzbee mascot. This role promotes a positive station image through engaging consumer interactions and supports promotional activities across all Philadelphia radio brands, including KYW Newsradio, Sportsradio 94WIP, B101, BIG 98.1, WPHT, and The NEW 96.5.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiasm and high energy at all times during on-site appearances and promotional activities.
• Execute assigned on-site appearances (remotes), promotional activities, and special projects, including setup/breakdown of vehicles, equipment, prizes/giveaways, and signage.
• Assist promotions and sales staff with station promotional activities both inside and outside the station.
• Facilitate and manage on-location station/client activations to increase audience interaction and engagement.
• Perform additional marketing and promotional duties as assigned by management.
• Perform as the Buzzbee mascot at station events, greeting listeners and enhancing the event experience with playful, upbeat energy.
• Maintain and administer the Buzzbee costume and props as needed.

Requirements

• Organized with strong communication and intermediate computer/administrative skills.
• Able to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and evenings as necessary.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines.
• Positive and upbeat attitude when interacting with customers and listeners.
• Minimum age of 21 to operate any vehicle on behalf of Audacy; driving is an essential function of this role.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory motor vehicle record check, and proof of insurance if using a personal vehicle.
