About the role

The Project Tech drives results and quality for assigned stripping and waxing projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, company standards, and customer satisfaction. This position performs a variety of custodial activities across multiple customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments according to company schedule and customer expectations, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Use floor machines for buffing, stripping, waxing, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning safely and as scheduled.
• Perform carpet extraction.
• Complete tasks within safety guidelines, company policies, and management directives.
• Follow company policies on safety, customer service, attire, and timekeeping.
• Maintain and store machines properly, ensuring cleanliness and proper levels of supplies.
• Wear required uniforms at worksites.
• Perform janitorial/custodial tasks such as:
  • Empty wastebaskets and replace liners.
  • Dust and clean office furniture, desks, and tables.
  • Vacuum all carpeting.
  • Spot clean soiled areas.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, basins, urinals, counters, mirrors, and fixtures.
  • Sweep and damp mop floors with disinfectant.
  • Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors.
  • Refill restroom dispensers.
  • Clean table tops, chairs, vending machines, and appliances.
  • Clean sinks and damp mop tile floors.
• Assist supervisors in training staff, maintaining standards, and meeting customer requirements.
• Maintain inventory and recommend custodial supplies.
• Lock and unlock doors; activate and deactivate alarm systems.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Requirements

• Ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting.
• Operate small power tools.
• Stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, and reach in areas that may not be fully air-conditioned.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairwells and ladders.
• Work independently and in stressful environments.
• Drive between customer locations using a personal vehicle (100% local travel, varying by week).
• Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance.

Schedule

Third shift: 10 PM – 6 AM.
