Project Surveyor

Job Summary

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Project Surveyor for remote positions in various states including CO, FL, IN, MI, MO, NE, NC, OH, SC, TN, WI, and AZ. The position may also be available with in-office work at one of our office locations.

Contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine the built and natural world. Collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD tasks in the preparation of ALTA, boundary, topographic, specialized surveys.
• Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
• Manage CAD generated surface models and produce accurate contours, cross sections and profile drawings.
• Perform project research and setup.

Requirements

• 3 - 15 years practical experience performing similar work.
• A degree or courses in related area is a plus.
• Professional licensure in Indiana preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Ability to competently read civil, architectural, and structural drawings, including complex details, and successfully interpret for construction layout.
• Communicate with clients, accommodate client work requests, and create work order instructions for field staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Work independently with little instruction.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and field staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
