Project Surveyor
Responsibilities
- Communicate with the project team and client to understand the goals, challenges, schedule, budget, and expectations of a project.
- Manages projects, including schedules and project-level financials
- Manages client expectations & builds client relationships.
- Completes business development
- Manage, mentor and supervise project staff
- Represent survey group on multidisciplinary project teams
- Supervise analysis of data reduction, computation and mappings
- Develop research documentation for field use
- Complete advanced analysis of survey data
- Participate in QA/QC of survey deliverable
- Monitor and manage survey projects and assignments and suggests course corrections
- Follow prescribed safety practices for Land Surveying.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in equal or related position of responsibility
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- AAS or BS in land surveying or related field a plus
- Knowledge of advanced land surveying systems & techniques, technology and analysis
- Strong AutoCAD Civil3D and advanced GPS post processing software experience
- Experience with Microstation Open Roads and/or Trimble Business Center is a plus
- Knowledge of terrestrial LiDAR and UAV/drone surveying
- Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Maintain a current driver's license in good standing and able to operate company owned vehicles
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in equal or related position of responsibility
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
AAS or BS in land surveying or related field a plus
Knowledge of advanced land surveying systems & techniques, technology and analysis
Strong AutoCAD Civil3D and advanced GPS post processing software experience
Experience with Microstation Open Roads and/or Trimble Business Center is a plus
