Responsibilities
- Create vertical and horizontal control surveys networks
- Perform photogrammetry surveys
- Create survey maps and 3D scanning models
- Create plats and legal descriptions
- Process and create deliverables using state-of-the-art surveying equipment such as Trimble GPS, total stations, digital levels, robotic equipment, 3-D scanning, and UAS LiDAR and Photogrammetry systems
- Support CAD for all Garver Survey projects
Requirements
- 2+ years of survey experience or an AS or BS degree in Survey Sciences
- Knowledge of Survey principles and practices
- Willingness to work independently or with an experienced surveyor
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- PLS licensure
- Experience with various DOT standards
- Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads experience
- Transportation/Roadway engineering plan production experience
- Experience working with Engineering staff and maintaining plan production standards
- Proficiency with Trimble equipment and software
- Experience with UAS surveys and workflows
- Experience extracting Lidar data
