Project Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Create vertical and horizontal control surveys networks
• Perform photogrammetry surveys
• Create survey maps and 3D scanning models
• Create plats and legal descriptions
• Process and create deliverables using state-of-the-art surveying equipment such as Trimble GPS, total stations, digital levels, robotic equipment, 3-D scanning, and UAS LiDAR and Photogrammetry systems
• Support CAD for all Garver Survey projects

Requirements

• 2+ years of survey experience or an AS or BS degree in Survey Sciences
• Knowledge of Survey principles and practices
• Willingness to work independently or with an experienced surveyor
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• PLS licensure
• Experience with various DOT standards
• Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads experience
• Transportation/Roadway engineering plan production experience
• Experience working with Engineering staff and maintaining plan production standards
• Proficiency with Trimble equipment and software
• Experience with UAS surveys and workflows
• Experience extracting Lidar data
