Project Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Leads crew and performs janitorial project work at multiple locations within a defined geographic area.
• Work requires efficient execution of work within defined project time frames.
• May support staffing coordination for projects including communicating schedules.
• Floor surfaces and carpet cleaning
• Carpet extractions
• Wash windows
• Minor wall repair
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
• Safety
• Follows all procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Maintains building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Follows all procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of janitorial/building maintenance procedures and related safety requirements
• Tool and machine maintenance including basic break/fix procedures
• How to meet general customer expectations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills including time management with an ability to prioritize and set clear expectations
• Ability to resolve requests and concerns in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage work with and lead a team in a complex task oriented janitorial operations environment
• Ability to provide facilities escalations resolution timely and efficiently
• Ability to track supplies and task/performance data, document and submit reports/supply orders
• Answer calls, monitor, track and document escalations in what may be a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service
• Relationship management and ability to build rapport with customers
• Communicate (speak and write) in English (and where needed bilingual in Spanish and English)

Qualifications

• MUST BE BILINGUAL, Spanish/English.
• Supervisor experience needed.
• MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK WEEKENDS ON ROTATION.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK/SUPERVISE IN LEWES, REHOBOCHT, MILLVILLE, MILTON, MILLSBORO, GEORGETOWN, MILFORD, SELBYVILLE.

Pay

$20.41 per hour

Schedule

• 2pm-10:30pm
• 4pm - 11:30pm
