Project Superintendent - Electrical

About the Role

You’ll travel across the US, up to 100% of the time, helping build infrastructure projects. Average project duration is 6–8 months. Sites are located in NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, or WY. If eligible, you’ll receive a daily per diem, relocation assistance, a vehicle allowance, and one weekend per month travel-home rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Permit document administration and control
  • Complete review and understanding of subcontractor’s scope of work
  • Coordinate safety meetings and overall responsibility for project safety
  • Control project access and traffic
  • Tool/equipment inventory, coordination, and rental
  • Coordinate, schedule, and maintain records of all project testing and certificates including concrete and soil testing
  • Coordinate with PM, PCM, and PFE daily regarding project progress, subcontractor performance, QA/QC, and reporting
  • Complete “3-week look-ahead schedule” and update master schedule with PCM
  • Complete Daily Log Reports (Procore)
  • Maintain “As-Built” drawings for final submittal
  • Coordinate and schedule project inspections
  • Final inspection and proper close-out documentation
  • Quality control of installed materials and equipment
  • Site layout and control of benchmarks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field plus minimum 3 years’ work experience as a construction Superintendent
  • In lieu of degree, 10+ years of work experience as a construction Superintendent
  • Project scheduling, planning, organization, and document control
  • Superior communication and organization skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectors
  • OSHA Certification – in-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling programs, and document control software

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a construction Superintendent
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6)
  • Experience on projects greater than $20 million
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Willingness to travel throughout the US
