Essential Job Functions
- Process and report Auto, Cyber, Employment, and Property claims to insurance carriers while tracking financial updates.
- Compile exposure data and claims metrics needed for insurance renewals, executive board presentations, and actuarial reports.
- Manage the internal inbox to process malpractice certificates and claims history requests, and issue various liability certificates (e.g., Worker's Compensation, General Liability).
- Assist in organizing cross-functional healthcare safety events, such as Patient Safety Week.
- Prepare presentations for committees focused on promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary system administrator for the Safety Intelligence and Riskonnect Claims databases.
- Ensure data integrity, troubleshoot system issues, generate reports, and train staff on system utilization and upgrades.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, risk management, or a related field required.
- 4-5 years of experience in a healthcare, insurance, or risk management environment preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Must be highly organized with experience in data analysis, the ability to learn and work with multiple data systems and participate in team projects.
- Strong project coordination skills, with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Experience working with claims management software (e.g., Riskonnect, RLDatix) and electronic reporting tools.
- Ability to analyze and present data for decision-making and process improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clinical and non-clinical teams.
