About the role
The Project Site Supervisor assists in the completion of residential and commercial construction projects, managing day-to-day operations, safety, quality, and client communications.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and scheduling for assigned projects
- Maintain targeted schedule compliance
- Ensure safety and quality are top priorities
- Uphold client contract compliance
- Manage vendors and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle
- Maintain timely communication with clients, responding to all requests promptly
- Provide courteous and prompt service while ensuring confidentiality
- Document employee performance for direct reports and communicate actions
- Adhere to operating procedures to maximize staff efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure training objectives are met for all staff within stated timeframes
- Organize and lead weekly safety meetings with agendas and meeting minutes
- Perform construction-related tasks in the field as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of construction, flooring, and/or project management experience
- Knowledge of both residential and commercial systems
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft programs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a take-initiative mindset
- Strong focus on customer relations
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to travel as required
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
- Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
