Project Scheduler

About the role

Universal Creative is a leading provider of innovative entertainment experiences. Our team members are responsible for designing, developing, and delivering these experiences, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the themed entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

- Develop and status project schedules using Primavera and other scheduling software programs. - Coordinate with internal and external teams to develop and integrate activity durations and logic sequences. - Create summary level reports providing high-level project status. - Assist in the development of new schedule details or other schedule maintenance activities. - Conduct resource loading analysis as required. - Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities. - Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or an applicable field. - 5+ years engineering/construction planning and scheduling experience. - 3+ years theme park planning/coordination experience preferred. - Solid working knowledge of theme parks, show/ride product lines and design and construction. - 3+ years of Primavera scheduling experience. - Strong understanding of design and construction progress measurement. - Working knowledge of architectural/engineering and show and ride design and production. - Well-organized self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Solid understanding of practical project controls applications and earned value measurement. - Ability to coordinate staff, consultants, and suppliers. - Solid meeting leadership, facilitation, and alignment skills. - Solid communication, collaboration, technical writing, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to influence and guide a team. - Ability to negotiate schedule changes with vendors and contractors. - Basic conflict resolution skills.
